Changes to Special Needs Guidance
The new SEND Code of Practice was laid before Parliament on 11th June 2014 and came into force in September 2014. It covers reforms to the SEND system for children and young people aged 0 – 25 years.
At Putteridge Primary School we base our special needs provision on this code and evolved our practice to meet any additional statutory guidance. If any further changes are introduced the school will adapt practice as appropriate and ensure clear communication with our school community.
