End of year message from Mr Pickard

Please see the 'News & Events' tab to read the message

Dear Mums, Dads and Carers,

We have finally arrived at the end of a very strange and challenging academic year. It seems very peculiar writing this message, rather than being able to say the words to you face to face.

Thank you very much for your support throughout this year, particularly since we entered lockdown back in March. It has been wonderful to see the children’s work being uploaded on Google Classroom and the messages of support and thanks received via the stream or through the Enquiries email.

Now that the summer break has finally arrived, and it does actually feel like summer today, please make sure that you enjoy a well-earned rest where you are able.

For those of you departing Putteridge, either as your child leaves Year 6 or through relocation, please take our best wishes for the future with you and please let us know how you and the children get on as the next chapter unfolds.

For those of you who remain with us, we look forward to seeing you on Thursday 3rd September, to welcoming the children back through the gates (hopefully with smiles across their faces, certainly by the end of the day at least) and to be able to talk to you face-to-face as you drop-off/collect your children.

With very best wishes,

Colin Pickard
